This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
addressing the problem of 'art or not?' on deviantART. included is the essay about the controversy between freedom of creation and the strive for art that makes it almost impossible to find any needles in dA's haystack.
fictive shock artist eugen j isotamm is aesthetic and cruel. minesweeper of masculine abusrd: conceptual, non-attractive, narrow-minded. facts, research, socio-environmental science, right to speak politics - none of these or their bastard children belong to eugen's recognition. his goals are much wider. an analysing nature stands behind the white camel, the mini-errors of the society are viewed in a way nobody catches wind of. his bitter laughter wants not to hurt anyone - eugen looks inside of himself and gasconades in front of the mirror, wanting to fall into one with art, apostlenegativity and foremost, non-existence that holds everything. be it longlasting life, constant value judgements or priorities that are worth nothing.
it is not my intention to hide my true self behind eugen. eugen is not solid enough a creature to shield anything. the truth is that I am an artist. I like to create and perform. I don't know if I'm good at it, but I know I'm not very good at other things. art is no different from any other area of activity that people are involved in. the human goal is recognition. achievement. because it wasn't born from economy, art is always poor and begging. eugen j is a vagabond in desolate lands, riding for hope.
